Tashkent International Investment Forum has been postponed to November 2020

TASHKENT, February 21. /“Dunyo” IA/. This has been announced today by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov during the press-conference in Tashkent, informs the correspondent of “Dunyo” IA.

The government of Uzbekistan decided to postpone the date of Tashkent International Investment Forum and Plenary session of Foreign Investors Council under the President of Uzbekistan as a preventive measure in spreading coronavirus amount participants, citizens and guests of the country.

Nevertheless, organizing committee has no intension in terminating the preparation process.

“This is a great opportunity to put more effort and bring quality event,” said Sardor Umurzakov. “We will further continue calling new participants who are interesting in collaborating with Uzbekistan. Organizing committee will update those registered on new date.”

To date, over 1 700 people from more than 60 countries signed up to participate in the Forum.

As the Minister stated, the government entity has prepared investment projects in every aspect, including energy, chemical, textile and others. Despite the push back, the Ministry will continue the work on their approval and further implementation in Uzbekistan.
