Tashkent to host an international workshop for coaches and referees of Central and South Asia

TASHKENT, November 1. /“Dunyo” IA/. Tashkent is preparing to host another important sporting event, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

On November 3-7, Tashkent will host an international workshop for coaches and judges from Central and South Asia.

According to Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee, two experienced mentors and judges from 14 countries have registered to participate in judo, freestyle, Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling, weightlifting, boxing and swimming events.

Classes for almost 300 specialists will be conducted by experienced experts from Uzbekistan, Canada, Ireland, the United States, Thailand, China, Russia. The event will also include a marathon “Fun Run” dedicated to the Hangzhou-2022 Asian Games. It is planned to be held in the New Uzbekistan Park. More than 500 people are expected to participate in the marathon.
