The delegation of the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association discussed issues of the practical start of the construction of Kokand City and implementing other joint projects
SEOUL, March 16. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, а South Korean delegation led by Kim Chang Keon, First Deputy Chairman of Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, arrived in Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The visit was organized to consider issues of accelerating the implementation of joint investment projects, discussed in January during the online summit at the highest level.
The first meeting has taken place in the city of Kokand between Mr. Kim Chang Keon and the Hokim of the city Marufjon Usmonov.
At the meeting, the parties welcomed the practical start of the investment project for the construction by Hanshin Engineering & Construction, and Plus International of modern multi-storey residential complexes with social infrastructure in Kokand City. It was noted that on March 26 this year, specialists from South Korean companies will arrive in Kokand to establish a representative office of Hanshin Engineering & Construction and complete preparatory work to start construction of facilities. Hokim Marufjon Usmonov expressed his readiness to create all favorable conditions for the work of South Korean specialists.
The parties also discussed and reached agreements on the practical start in the earliest possible time of an investment project to organize the production of natural cosmetic products together with LYA Cosmetics, as well as other projects with the involvement of KUBA member companies.
It was emphasized that following the previously reached agreements, the coordination of the implementation of all investment projects implemented with the support of KUBA is carried out by the representative office of this Association in Fergana region.
