The presentation of the book “H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev a visionary statesman” published in Pakistan took place in Tashkent

TASHKENT, October 27. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a presentation of the book of analytical articles “H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev a visionary statesman”, published in Pakistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


The book, prepared for publication by the Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) in Islamabad, together with the Embassy of Uzbekistan, includes 14 analytical articles, which were prepared by prominent experts, scientists and young researchers of Pakistan.

The articles of the book are devoted to the results of socio-economic reforms and democratic transformations implemented under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, his constructive foreign policy, regional and global ideas, including 10 initiatives put forward at the international conference in Tashkent on regional connectivity of Central and South Asia.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov noted that the publication of this book reflects a great interest in New Uzbekistan from representatives of the socio-political and expert-analytical circles of Pakistan and the entire world community.

“I believe that the publication of this book is clear evidence that our international partners widely support the initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev”, Mr. Furkat Sidikov said.

Presenting the book of analytical articles, CGSS Executive Director Khalid Taimur Akram, who is in Tashkent as an international observer at the Presidential elections, noted that Pakistan is attentive, deeply respectful and studying the reform course of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The first part is called “Uzbekistan under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev” and consists of five analytical articles reflecting the results of reforms and changes in various areas of Uzbek society.

The second part, entitled “Uzbekistan's foreign policy contours”, includes three analytical articles on the role of the country in regional forums, the importance of new mutually beneficial multilateral initiatives put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the goals of the foreign policy of New Uzbekistan.

The third part of the book, entitled “Central Asia and South Asia Regional Connectivity: Great initiative by His Excellency President Shavkat Mirziyoyev”, contains 6 analytical articles on the initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan on regional connectivity during an international conference in July in Tashkent.
