The President of Singapore arrives in Uzbekistan on a state visit

TASHKENT, May 24. /“Dunyo” IA/. At the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, yesterday, the President of Singapore Halimah Yacob arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of state, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Zulaykho Mahkamova, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and Acting Khokim of Tashkent city Shavkat Umurzakov. met the high-ranking guest at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

Top-level talks will be held during the visit. The agenda includes further development of a constructive political dialogue, mutual support within the framework of regional and international organizations, promotion of investment projects with the participation of leading companies and banking institutions of the two countries, and expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchange.

As previously reported, in January this year, the President of Uzbekistan paid a state visit to this country at the invitation of the President of Singapore.
