The results of the activities of the Ministry and foreign institutions in the current year were considered, priority tasks for 2022 were identified at a working meeting with the participation of heads of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, December 31. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan with the participation of Ambassadors of Uzbekistan, heads of consular offices and permanent representatives of Uzbekistan in international organizations, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the results of the activities of the Ministry and foreign institutions in the current year were considered, priority tasks for 2022 were identified and specific instructions were given at the meeting.

The draft of a new Foreign Policy Concept of the Republic of Uzbekistan was discussed.

The main attention was paid to issues of economic diplomacy, including the results of trips of heads of diplomatic missions to Uzbekistan regions to study the situation at places, meetings they held in ministries and agencies of the country to discuss and implement specific projects in the trade-economic sphere.

The event included the awarding ceremony of the Dustlik Order to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan Ergash Shaismatov, who was awarded a high state award by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
