ANKARA, October 11. /“Dunyo” IA/. The governments of Uzbekistan and Turkey signed an agreement on gratuitous assistance in healthcare, according to which the Turkish side sends 200,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Uzbekistan, as well as 20,000 boxes of Favipiravir medicines (200mg/40 tablets), reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
On behalf of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the agreement was signed by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkey Alisher Agzamkhodjayev, on behalf of the Republic of Turkey – Deputy Minister of Health Khalil Eldemir.
This batch of vaccines and medicines is sent as a sign of friendship and goodwill from the Turkish side to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
