LONDON, January 6. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London has organized virtual talks between the British University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and Urgench State University (UrSU), reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The meeting was held to establish a partnership between the two universities in personnel training, as well as to conduct joint research in mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics.
The event was attended by UCLan Director of Partnerships Paul Rowe, Vice-Rector of Urgench State University Gayrat Urazbayev and other representatives of the universities.
Gayrat Urazbayev provided information about the university and noted the university’s interest in cooperation with the British university in such disciplines as archeology, anthropology, biology, chemistry, computer science, English, mathematics, physics.
Paul Rowe confirmed UCLan’s interest in establishing cooperation with UrSU on a long-term basis. In particular, they noted the possibility of implementing joint programs on mutual recognition of diplomas, exchange of students and researchers, conducting scientific research in mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics.
