TASHKENT, October 29. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia has held a videoconference with the leadership of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Center (MaGIC), reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.
The event from the Uzbek side was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov and Deputy Minister of Innovative Development Azimjon Nazarov, from the Malaysian side – CEO of MaGIC, Dzuleira Abu Bakar.
Dzuleira Abu Bakar highly appreciated the consistent measures being taken by the leadership of Uzbekistan for the rapid innovative development of all sectors of the economy and social sphere based on advanced foreign experience, modern achievements of world science, developments and technologies.
Views were exchanged on establishing cooperation between SP-Center and MaGIC, including by signing a corresponding agreement. It was noted that taking into account the existing scientific and innovative potential of the parties, SP-Center can serve as a gateway for the Malaysian side to the Central Asia region, and MaGIC – for Uzbekistan to Southeast Asia.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to work out and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between SP-Center and MaGIC, to organize the participation of MaGIC representatives in the annual InnoWeek.Uz, which will be held online on November 3-8, 2020.
