TASHKENT, February 23. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Ambassador of Israel Zehavit Ben-Hillel, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of trade, economic, investment, scientific and technical cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
The head of the Israeli diplomatic mission announced that the Israeli government is interested in the comprehensive development of cooperation with Uzbekistan, with an emphasis on strengthening economic ties.
The parties emphasized their mutual readiness to intensify joint work for the development of joint measures to increase the number of joint investment projects, as well as to increase the volume and diversify the range of mutual trade.
The Ambassador informed the Uzbek side of the serious interest of Israeli businesspeople in establishing investment cooperation in agriculture, water conservation, the information and communication sector, and healthcare.
