TASHKENT, April 20. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Physicotechnical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan has developed a small mobile device that allows assessing the total amount of bilirubin in blood plasma by a reagentless method in a short time, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Academy of Sciences, the use of this device in family clinics and mobile laboratories will quickly diagnose the performance of the liver, which is the main organ that determines the health of the human body.
One of the important features of the device is its small size. This allows to use it in mobile and field conditions, and the results for the determination of bilirubin in the blood can be obtained quickly, without reagents, additional chemicals. In addition, the device is energy efficient, and small batteries can also ensure its use in the field.
The device can save up to 100 measurement results.
