Uzbekistan, Turkey develop cooperation in air transportation

TASHKENT, July 2. /“Dunyo” IA/. Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov met with a well-known Turkish expert in civil aviation, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines İlker Aycı, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


During the talks, which were also attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed prospects for establishing cooperation in the civil aviation sector of Uzbekistan, taking into account the increasing competitiveness of Uzbekistan air carriers and attracting private investors to implement projects in this area.

The Turkish side expressed readiness to assist in the introduction of advanced Turkish experience in air transportation and increase the investment attractiveness of this area.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in practical cooperation within the framework of the discussed areas of interaction.
