Vladimir Norov appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, December 31. /“Dunyo” IA/. This has been announced at the meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


Mr. Vladimir Norov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 30, 2021.

Mr. Norov has extensive experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2019-2021, he served as Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. He has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisherbek Paygamov.
