TASHKENT, April 13. /“Dunyo” IA/. Today, Tashkent hosted political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Uzbekistan MFA, the delegations were led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farkhod Arziyev and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko.
The parties discussed in detail the state and prospects of cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, scientific-educational, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, as well as interaction within the framework of multilateral organizations and regional security issues.
The progress of the implementation of previously reached agreements and the schedule of the upcoming joint events at various levels were considered.
Other issues on Uzbekistan – Russia agenda were also discussed at the meeting.
