Uzbekistan exported ready-made clothing worth almost $460 million

TASHKENT, February 16. /“Dunyo” IA/. Uzbekistan exported ready-made clothing worth $459.3 million in 2020. This is $136.4 million more than in 2019, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the country that Uzbekistan exported the most ready-made clothing in 2020 included Russia ($247.2 million), Kyrgyzstan ($170.6 million), Kazakhstan ($17.5 million), Ukraine ($4.9 million), Tajikistan ($4.8 million), Moldova ($2.6 million), Belarus ($2.3 million), Italy ($2 million).

Among the regions of Uzbekistan, Andijan ($143.6 million) and Tashkent ($102.7 million) regions, as well as the city of Tashkent ($55.6 million), topped the list of exporters of ready-made clothing. In addition to them, Namangan (48.5 million dollars), Khorezm (17.8 million dollars) and Samarkand (17.2 million dollars) regions also distinguished.
