Uzbekistan showcases experience in digital transformation of education at UNESCO Digital Learning Week

PARIS, September 11. /Dunyo IA/. Delegation of Uzbekistan is participating in the UNESCO Digital Learning Week, which is taking place from September 8th to September 11th at the headquarters in Paris and is dedicated to the theme of education in the era of artificial intelligence, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Event is attended by UNESCO leadership, ministers of education from the organization's member states, representatives of international corporations in the fields of education and digital technologies, as well as over 800 experts from around the world.
Uzbekistan is represented by a delegation from the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for the Development of Education and educators from various regions of the country. Within the framework of the event, the delegation presented a joint program of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, UNESCO, and UNICEF, implemented with financial support from the “Uzbekistan Vision 2030 Fund”.
“Ishonch” (“Trust”) project stand was also presented, aimed at developing the digital competencies of teachers and expanding the use of artificial intelligence and information and communication technologies in education.
During the plenary discussions, representatives of governments, the academic community, and international organizations deliberated on the ethical issues of AI application in education, including the digital divide and the responsible use of technologies.
Representing Uzbekistan at the plenary session, Durdona Boynazarova, an educator from Termez, delivered a speech. She showcased the country's experience in preparing teachers to utilize information and communication technologies and AI, and also outlined the goals and outcomes of the “Ishonch” project.
