LONDON, October 19. /Dunyo IA/.  With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, online negotiations were held between the “Uzbek Combinat of Technological Metals” (UzTMK) and the London Metal Exchange (LME), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, representatives of UzTMK presented the activities of the combinat, current projects, and future plans. They also briefed on the resource potential of Uzbekistan in the field of critical minerals, production capabilities, and priority areas for the development of the industry.

Parties exchanged views on the current situation in the markets for critical and rare metals, market conditions and product pricing mechanisms.

Representatives of the London Metal Exchange provided detailed information on the principles of pricing for metal products, access to market data, and price analysis tools. Special attention was paid to the “LME Insight” information and analytical platform.

Following the negotiations, parties outlined promising areas for further cooperation. The dialogue marked a step toward promoting the potential of Uzbekistan in the field of critical minerals and technological metals on international markets, as well as a deeper study of international experience and market mechanisms of the industry.
