First, Khasanboy Dosmatov, champion of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio in boxing, celebrated his victory at the XIX Asian Games. Our compatriot, who took part in competitions in the weight category up to 51 kg, defeated Thai boxer Thitisan Panmot in the final and won the gold medal of the tournament.

Another boxer, Abdumalik Khalokov, who defended the flag of our country in the 57 kg weight category, also won the Asian Games championship. He won the gold medal with a decisive victory over Japanese leather glove master Shudai Harada in the decisive final.

It should be noted here that this battle did not come to an end. The Japanese representative, unable to withstand Abdumalik's blows, was knocked down several times. Seeing this, the Japanese coaches threw a white towel into the ring in the 2nd round.
