Cultural Events dedicated to the Independence of Uzbekistan held in the Center of Kuala Lumpur

• 158KUALA LUMPUR, September 16. /Dunyo IA/. In honour of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan, a series of cultural events dedicated to the national culture and art of our country was held in the capital of Malaysia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
State flag of Uzbekistan, along with video materials promoting the country’s main national holiday, was displayed on large electronic screens and media facades of buildings located on the central streets of the Malaysian capital.
Vibrant performances showcasing Uzbek national costumes, dances and musical numbers took place near one of the city's main landmarks - the “Petronas” Twin Towers - drawing great interest from local residents and foreign tourists.
Cultural program continued with a presentation of the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and art of Uzbekistan at the Hotel “ibis” Kuala Lumpur City Centre, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
It was noted that the organized campaigns contributed to promoting the historical and cultural heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan among the Malaysian public and the international audience, while also raising interest in the development of pilgrimage tourism in our country.
