Cooperation in Labour Migration and Human Capital discussed in Minsk

MINSK, June 9. /Dunyo IA/. Within the framework of the Uzbek delegation's visit to Minsk, a series of meetings were held with the leadership of the Administration of the President of Belarus, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Republican Association of Employers “BelSN”, as well as heads of major Belarusian enterprises and organizations, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of labour migration, the improvement of organized labour migration mechanisms, the training and employment of qualified personnel, and the protection of the rights and interests of labour migrants.
Within the framework of the visit, the forum “Human Capital of Uzbekistan” was also organized. The event brought together representatives of government agencies, employers, business and expert communities. Participants were presented with the potential of Uzbekistan’s labour resources, the reforms being implemented in the country’s workforce training system, as well as opportunities for training and attracting qualified specialists to meet the needs of the Belarusian economy.
