The “Uzbek Books Corner” Has Been Established at the World-Renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology

At the initiative of the University of Business and Science, a collection of books reflecting Uzbekistan’s rich history, cultural heritage, and recent reforms has been donated to one of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions — the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), "Dunyo" IA's correspondent reports.
During a ceremonial event held in the U.S. city of Boston, the unique collection was officially handed over to Chris Bourg, Director of MIT Libraries. As a result, a dedicated “Uzbek Books Corner” has begun operating on a permanent basis at MIT’s Hayden Library.
The collection comprises more than 120 academic, historical, and literary works and serves as a comprehensive source of information on Uzbek statehood and culture. It includes works by the President of Uzbekistan, publications on the history of New Uzbekistan, Islamic civilization and Sufi heritage, the Jadid movement, as well as masterpieces of 20th-century Uzbek literature.
Scholars, researchers, and students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology now have the opportunity to conduct academic research based on reliable sources covering the stages of development of New Uzbekistan and its national values.
This initiative represents a strategic step toward integrating Uzbekistan’s national heritage into the global academic landscape and strengthening the country’s positive international image.
