MOSCOW, October 27. /Dunyo IA/. A dedicated trade platform for Uzbek manufacturers has been inaugurated at one of Moscow’s largest shopping complexes, "Sadovod", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MIIT) and the Uzbek Agency for the Development of Light Industry, with the objective of promoting national brands in the Russian market.
The opening ceremony was attended by Nozimjon Kholmurodov, Head of the Agency for the Development of Light Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Inomjon Abdurakhmonov, Head of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Retail outlets and warehouse spaces have been leased within the shopping complex and allocated to Uzbek enterprises operating in the textile, footwear, and apparel industries.
The trade area currently hosts 38 retail units, where domestic companies are offering a diverse selection of Uzbek-made products — ranging from clothing and footwear to home textiles and fashion accessories.
According to project representatives, the new platform will open broad opportunities for direct trade, facilitate contract negotiations with Russian partners, and help strengthen the market presence of Uzbekistan’s national brands in one of the country’s largest and most dynamic commercial hubs.
In addition to offline retail operations, Uzbek manufacturers will also have the opportunity to promote their products through Russia’s leading online marketplaces — "Wildberries", "Ozon", "Yandex.Market", and "Avito" — thereby expanding their digital presence and strengthening access to consumers across the Russian Federation.
