GUANGZHOU, April 24. /Dunyo IA/. In order to expand cooperation with China in the healthcare sector, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held a round table discussion in Guangzhou with the leadership of the Zhujiang Hospital of South Medical University, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The director of the hospital, Go Hongbo, shared advanced treatment and diagnostic methods, implemented innovative technologies, the activities of the research center and laboratories, as well as the processes of professional development for specialists, including theoretical and practical training for students.

Participants were given detailed information on the ongoing healthcare reforms in Uzbekistan, including the provision of high-quality medical services, the introduced insurance system, full digitalization of the sector, and ensuring access to high-quality and safe pharmaceutical products.

The Chinese side expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, medical and higher educational institutions, as well as specialized scientific and practical centers.

Specifically, short-term and long-term programs for mutual exchange of experience and knowledge for industry specialists and students, as well as joint projects and events, are being developed.
