Uzbekistan and Poland explore new avenues for IT cooperation in Warsaw

WARSAW, December 18. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev held a meeting with Rafal Rosinski, Deputy Minister of Digitization of, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The Polish side underscored that Uzbekistan is an important and promising partner for Poland in Central Asia, highly commending the large-scale reforms being implemented in the areas of digitalisation of public services, the development of e-government, and the IT sector in Uzbekistan.

The sides exchanged views on a broad range of issues, including cybersecurity, harmonisation of legislation, IT infrastructure development, artificial intelligence, digital diplomacy, information and communication technologies, the introduction of digital wallets, and the full digitalisation of public services, as well as on expanding cooperation between universities, scholars, and research communities.

It was noted that establishing cooperation between Poland’s “mObywatel” digital government platform and Uzbekistan’s Unified Interactive Portal of Public Services - “my.gov.uz” would be expedient, with a view to identifying mutually beneficial solutions, exchanging expertise, and organising joint seminars and training programmes.

The meeting also highlighted that “IT-Park Uzbekistan” is regarded as an attractive and business-friendly ecosystem for Polish startups and a promising platform for deeper bilateral cooperation in the digital sphere.
