“Together with U.S. Secretary of State H.E. Marco Rubio, we attended the exhibition “Uzbekistan and the United States: A Shared History Across Centuries and Continents,” organized within the framework of the “C5+1” Ministerial Meeting, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel - Highlighting the rich history of scientific and cultural ties between our peoples, the exhibition featured the scientific legacy of Ahmad al-Farghani, Edgar Allan Poe’s collection of poems dedicated to Amir Temur, works by American travellers about our country, and other invaluable examples of shared heritage.

Materials related to the Tashkent–Seattle sister-city partnership, established in 1973, once again demonstrated the deep historical roots of friendship between our peoples.
