TASHKENT, April 28. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation yesterday with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Had a phone conversation with H.E. Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel.
– Reaffirmed our commitment to further strengthening the traditionally friendly and neighborly relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. Highlighted the impressive progress made in various areas of our rapidly expanding bilateral cooperation and emphasized the significant untapped potential that remains. We also discussed the Trans-Afghan railway project, which is a key connectivity initiative aimed at unlocking the region's full potential. We agreed to continue our close collaboration in promoting sustainable development, as well as enduring peace and stability throughout the entire region".
