ТASHKENT, February 27. /Dunyo IA/. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has issued an official statement expressing deep concern over the escalation of the situation on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Uzbekistan calls on the parties to immediately ceasefire, exercise maximum restraint, and prevent further escalation of tensions, - document states. - Convinced that all emerging differences should be resolved exclusively by peaceful, political, and diplomatic means based on the principles of mutual respect, sovereignty, and territorial integrity”.
