AKTAU, April 1. /Dunyo IA/. Airlines “Uzbekistan Airways” and “Centrum Air” have successfully operated their first flights on the Tashkent - Atyrau and Tashkent - Uralsk routes, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The flights were met with great interest from Kazakh travel companies and the general public. It was noted that opening air links with Tashkent creates new opportunities for the western regions of Kazakhstan.

It was particularly emphasized that there is a high level of interest among the local population of Western Kazakhstan in visiting Uzbekistan for tourism, including health resort treatments. The new flights will facilitate the development of mass tourism and increase the flow of premium travelers.

Furthermore, local residents highly appreciated the opportunity for transit and connecting flights through Tashkent International Airport to other countries, which creates additional convenience for international air travel.
