Hunan Province of China to host Business Forum with participation of a Bukhara Region Delegation from Uzbekistan
CHANGSHA, May 11. /Dunyo IA/. A series of events aimed at expanding economic and investment cooperation with Uzbekistan took place in China’s Hunan Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The meetings were organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, with the participation of representatives from the province's foreign affairs and trade departments, as well as the Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
During the negotiations, the parties emphasized the importance of developing interregional economic diplomacy and expanding mutual contacts to enhance the efficiency of cooperation.
It was noted that, within the framework of the upcoming visit of the Bukhara region delegation to Hunan, a major business forum titled “Bukhara region – Hunan: Prospects for economic cooperation” is planned to be held in the city of Changsha. The event will also feature the organization of G2B and B2B negotiations involving local companies.
In addition, a roundtable discussion was held in collaboration with the “International Youth Entrepreneurship” and “Changsha Medical Devices Industry” associations, featuring more than 20 companies. The session was dedicated to the trade, economic and investment opportunities of Uzbekistan.
Participants of the event were provided with information regarding the business climate in Uzbekistan, the investment attractiveness of its regions, the development of key economic sectors, as well as the opportunities offered by free economic zones.
Following the meetings, Chinese representatives expressed interest in continuing the dialogue and developing joint projects during the upcoming visits of Uzbek delegations to Hunan Province.
