DONGGUAN, November 5. /Dunyo IA/.   A presentation of the investment, export, and tourism potential of Uzbekistan was held in the city of Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China, with the participation of representatives from more than 100 economic associations and leading Chinese companies, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou. Participants were presented with the economic opportunities of the country, the investment potential of its regions and industrial sectors, as well as the conditions established for foreign investors.

Particular attention was paid to the localization of production, the creation of new manufacturing capacities, and the implementation of joint investment projects. Chinese entrepreneurs were also briefed on the opportunities for cooperation with the regions of Uzbekistan.

A dedicated presentation, organized by the Chinese association “Gan Shang Tianxia”, was focused on the economic potential of the Andijan region. Participants were informed about the results of the region's development and the successful experience of project implementation, inviting Chinese business circles to invest more actively in Uzbekistan and establish new enterprises.

Within the framework of B2B negotiations, parties discussed prospects for the creation of logistics centers, implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as cooperation in the textile and furniture industries.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a series of business missions to the regions of Uzbekistan for the further development of business contacts and the preparation of joint projects.
