TEL AVIV, July 12. /Dunyo IA/.  The well-known Israeli news source “Channel 14” and the “Menora” newspaper of the World Congress of Bukharian Jews published articles on deepening ties between Uzbekistan and Israel in the fields of technology, agriculture and investment, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The media notes that Uzbekistan - the most populous country in Central Asia - is opening its doors to Israeli technology, agriculture, and innovation amid economic reforms and the discovery of new mineral deposits.

Articles highlight the “Global Textile” textile enterprise, whose leadership noted that cooperation with Israeli companies has brought modern irrigation technologies to cotton farming. The publication also mentions a new technopark in the center of Tashkent for international startups, where Israel is viewed as a potential partner, and local representatives expressed readiness to attract Israeli companies to participate in ongoing international competitions.

Publication of the World Congress of Bukharian Jews reported that Tashkent positions itself as the new financial hub of Central Asia, with the local diamond and high-tech industries viewed as priority areas for Israeli investment.
