NEW YORK, June 7. /Dunyo IA/. The international cultural festival “Silk Road Festival NYC 2026” was held at Oceana Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, bringing together representatives of various ethnic communities across the city, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event featured participants from Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Middle East, and other regions historically connected to the Great Silk Road. In total, delegations from 14 countries took part in the festival.

Uzbekistan was represented by World Network NY, a tourism company and active partner of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York, which organized an exhibition and presentation highlighting the country’s tourism potential.

As part of the event, guests were shown video materials showcasing Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities, historic cities, unique cultural heritage sites, national traditions, and modern travel routes. Videos dedicated to Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and other well-known tourist destinations of the country were displayed on the theatre’s large screen.

The festival’s cultural program also featured a New York-based Uzbek dance group, which performed traditional national dance routines. The ensemble’s performance was warmly received by the audience and contributed to further familiarizing visitors with the rich cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.
