ISLAMABAD, April 13. /Dunyo IA/. Leading Pakistani media outlets are publishing reports about the upcoming II Asian Women's Forum, scheduled to take place in Bukhara this May, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Specifically, newspapers such as “Daily Financial Times”, “The Daily Morning News” and “Metro Morning”, along with online outlets like “Daily Independent”, “The Gulf Observer”, “Media Online Today”, “The World News”, “World News Pakistan”, “The Diplomatic Insight”, “Global News Pakistan”, “The AZB”, “Infora News” and others, published articles titled “II Asian Women's Forum to be held in Bukhara from May 13 to 15”.

The publications note that a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the forum was held in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

“At the meeting, chaired by Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbaeva, it was decided to hold the II Asian Women's Forum in the city of Bukhara from May 13 to 15 this year, with the support of UN Women and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)”, - the outlets report.

Pakistani media also recalled that at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in September 2025, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed making the Asian Women's Forum a permanent platform.

Within the framework of the forum, issues regarding the empowerment of women in the region across politics, economy, healthcare, education, social protection, as well as in climate policy, ecology and management, will be discussed. It is expected to strengthen global and regional cooperation and enhance the exchange of experience.
