BEIJING, April 6. /Dunyo IA/. China’s leading television channel, “CGTN”, has produced and aired a report dedicated to the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the TV channel, the Center of Islamic Civilization has opened in Tashkent with the participation of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The new complex has become a symbol of Uzbekistan's rich historical heritage and cultural depth, as well as a reflection of the large-scale transformations being implemented in the country.

It is reported that the initiative for its creation was put forward at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly and received widespread support from the international community. The Center has united unique evidence of a three-thousand-year history in a single educational space.

The exhibition features over 1,500 artefacts, including around 800 ancient manuscripts and rare archaeological finds. The project was implemented using scientific research and modern technological solutions, with specialists from China, France, the UK, the USA and other countries participating in its creation.

It is emphasized that the opening of the Center of Islamic Civilization marks a significant step in preserving historical heritage and strengthening cultural dialogue, demonstrating the intellectual and spiritual potential of the Uzbek people to the world.

“This center is not merely an architectural structure, but a symbol of living thought, Uzbekistan’s contribution to the dialogue of civilizations and the strengthening of solidarity among nations”, - “CGTN” concludes.
