Kazakhstan appoints New Ambassador to Uzbekistan

ASTANA, July 22. /Dunyo IA/.  By decree of the President of Kazakhstan, Yeraly Tugzhanov has been appointed today as the new Ambassador to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

He succeeds Beybut Atamkulov, who presented his credentials to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 24, 2022.

New Ambassador of Kazakhstan is 63 years old. Prior to his appointment to Tashkent, he served as Advisor to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Previously, he held various positions in the civil service, including in the Executive Office of the President, served as Akim (Governor) of the Mangystau and Aktobe regions, headed the Federation of Trade Unions of the country and worked as Deputy Prime Minister.
