ROME, October 26. /IA "Dunyo"/. The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Abat Faizullaev arrived in the capital of Italy, reports a correspondent of "Dunyo" information agency.

In 2020–2023, he headed the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria and part-time in Hungary. At the same time, he was the Permanent Representative of our country to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and UN organizations in Vienna. He's 40 years old. Graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Economic University.

He worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the USA, as an assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs - head of the Secretariat.

Abat Faizullaev replaced Otabek Akbarov, who served as ambassador to Rome in 2018-2023.
