The new ambassador of Uzbekistan arrives in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, February 6. /"Dunyo" IA/. Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov arrived in the capital of Kuwait.

Before his appointment to Kuwait, he served as the head of the division at the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is 50 years old and holds degrees from the Tashkent Islamic Institute named after Imam al-Bukhari, Al-Azhar University (Egypt), University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and Tashkent Law Institute. His specialties include international law, Islamic studies, and Arabic philology. He has a Phd degree in Legal Sciences.


Since 2003, he has worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the central office, the Embassy in Saudi Arabia, consulates general in Jeddah, and the Emirate of Dubai (UAE). Ayubkhon Yunusov is proficient in Arabic, Russian, and English.


Ayubkhon Yunusov replaces Bakhromjon Aloyev, who served as ambassador to Kuwait from 2016 to 2022.
