YEKATERINBURG, September 11. /Dunyo IA/.   Consulate General of Uzbekistan has assisted a compatriot, who found himself in a difficult financial and material situation, in returning home, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

A native of the Tashkent region, A.D., approached the Consulate General on September 8^th. According to him, he arrived in the Sverdlovsk region in January 2026 for employment, but in July sustained a spinal injury after a fall at his place of temporary residence.

Due to a lack of funds, he was unable to undergo medical treatment or continue working, and his identity documents had become invalid. Given the circumstances, Consulate issued him a certificate for return to Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the established procedure, an airline ticket for the Yekaterinburg–Tashkent flight was purchased using funds from the Migration Fund. On September 10^th, citizen A.D. was repatriated under the supervision of officials from the Consulate General and Migration Agency.
