Marius Vizer: Success of reforms in Uzbekistan is the result of professional management of the country and its economy

BUDAPEST, August 20. /Dunyo IA/.  President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer, on the eve of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan, extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the people of Uzbekistan through Dunyo IA:

- Today, Uzbekistan is a country of innovation and new technologies, where comprehensive reforms are being implemented in the fields of education, healthcare, and culture. I first visited Uzbekistan in 1997, which allows me to compare the level of development and prosperity of the country then and now.

Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the International Judo Federation has intensified significantly over the past few years and has become exceptionally fruitful. A crucial role in this success was played by the close interaction of the International Judo Federation with the Ministry of Sports of Uzbekistan, National Olympic Committee and Judo Federation of Uzbekistan.

Together, we have implemented numerous successful events, including international competitions, educational projects, and even a business forum in 2022. Thanks to this excellent collaboration, the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan has achieved outstanding results across all areas of its activities.

Successful implementation of reforms in Uzbekistan is the result of effective governance of the country and its economy, which establishes reliable conditions and guarantees for both foreign and domestic investors.

Ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan in the areas of sustainable development, “green” economy, digital transformation, science, education and human capital development create attractive opportunities for further international cooperation and investment attraction.

A particularly promising area is the development of partnerships in education and science. A striking example of such interaction is Uzbekistan's cooperation with Semmelweis University of Hungary, which demonstrates the potential of international partnership in training highly qualified specialists, developing scientific competencies and exchanging modern knowledge and technologies.

I am confident that in the coming years, the expansion of similar projects will make a significant contribution to the development of Uzbekistan's human capital and the further strengthening of its international ties.

Geostrategic, political and economic initiatives implemented by Uzbekistan in Central Asia, in line with the effective strategy of the country’s leadership and government, lay the foundation for successful cooperation both with neighbouring states and at the international level.

The most attractive areas for foreign investment include energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and information technology, which is greatly facilitated by Uzbekistan’s large and continuously growing youth population.

To ensure Uzbekistan holds a worthy position in the global economy and international relations, stability within the country, effective governance, transparency, equitable economic conditions and reliable guarantees for all investors are essential.

On behalf of the entire international judo family and on my own behalf, I wish the people of Uzbekistan great prosperity and to the country's leader and government - robust health and continued success.

I am confident that the continuation of the current course of reforms will guarantee that the Uzbek people will further achieve success in all spheres. The achievements of the past decade will serve as a solid foundation for the country's future and its legacy for generations to come.
