ISLAMABAD, October 17. /Dunyo IA/.   Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev, discussed the prospects for implementing investment projects in real estate and construction in New Tashkent with Arif Habib, the Founder and CEO of the Pakistani company “Arif Habib Group”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, Pakistani side was presented with the primary objectives of establishing New Tashkent, the planned projects, and the favorable conditions created for foreign investors. Subsequently, the parties reviewed opportunities for “Arif Habib Group” to participate in investment initiatives in Uzbekistan, specifically within the territory of the new city.

Arif Habib highly praised Uzbekistan's investment opportunities and expressed strong interest in developing cooperation. According to him, the company is prepared to study promising projects in the construction and real estate sectors in New Tashkent.

“Arif Habib Group” has significant experience in implementing large-scale construction and development projects in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Therefore, we are ready to work on investment proposals for the construction of residential, office, and commercial properties in New Tashkent”, noted Arif Habib.

In the initial phase, the company plans to conduct a feasibility analysis of projects in the construction and real estate industries and based on its outcomes, determine the priority investment direction.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to organize a meeting with the management of the New Tashkent Directorate to define the next steps for implementing the discussed projects.

“Arif Habib Group” is one of Pakistan's major business conglomerates, operating in capital and securities markets, investment banking, and financial services, as well as in the production of fertilizers, cement, construction materials, real estate and development.
