LONDON, May 30. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Sirojiddin Eshkuvvatov, Head of the Inspectorate for Control in Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, paid a working visit to the United Kingdom, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the trip, the delegation members participated in the “Futurebuild 2026” exhibition, the UK's largest event dedicated to sustainable construction, held at the “ExCeL” London exhibition center. The representatives of Uzbekistan acquainted themselves with modern building materials, energy-efficient technologies, and advanced solutions applied in the construction industry. Particular attention was paid to presentations focusing on improving energy efficiency, developing green infrastructure, designing buildings in accordance with modern requirements, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for the population.

Additionally, the Uzbek side studied the operations of several companies specializing in sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, smart building systems, and the implementation of environmentally friendly solutions in construction. In particular, the delegation representatives held meetings with the management and specialists of companies such as “Quidos”, “Ecobrix”, “Build Test Solutions”, “Cyd Innovation”, “Sensat”, and other organizations, exchanging views on the application of modern technologies, digital solutions, and innovative developments in the industry.

Furthermore, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London between the delegation members and Charles Pugsley, Head of the UK's Building Safety Regulator. During the talks, the parties discussed issues regarding the improvement of the control system in the construction sector, the development of bilateral cooperation, and the implementation of future joint projects. The significance of further interaction in ensuring construction safety, introducing modern oversight methods, and organizing professional exchanges of experience was emphasized.

The outcomes of the meetings held and the international experience studied will contribute to improving the system of construction work control in Uzbekistan, as well as introducing modern standards and innovative approaches to the industry.
