ТАSHKENT, October 15. /Dunyo IA/.  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Manet on the sidelines of the CICA Summit in Baku, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, two sides discussed prospects for further developing practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Cambodia.

Importance of establishing regular political dialogue and expanding interparliamentary, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, as well as cooperation in tourism, was emphasised.

Particular attention was paid to practical measures to increase bilateral trade, including organising exhibitions to showcase the industrial potential of both countries and arranging visits by business delegations.

To this end, two sides agreed to accelerate the preparation of key agreements on trade, economic and investment cooperation.

Meeting also covered current international and regional issues, including ways to maintain close cooperation within the UN, SCO, ASEAN, the Non-Aligned Movement and other international organizations.
