ТАSHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/. Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, Leader of Kyrgyzstan warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, well-being and every success, as well as peace and prosperity to the brotherly Uzbek people.

Sadyr Japarov highly praised the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, as well as Shavkat Mirziyoyev's personal contribution to strengthening the relations of friendship, good-neighbourliness and strategic partnership between the two countries.

Two leaders noted with satisfaction the growing momentum of mutually beneficial cooperation across all areas. Bilateral trade continues to grow steadily, while industrial cooperation projects are being implemented, including through the existing Joint Fund. Practical work on major regional infrastructure projects is also ongoing.

Presidents emphasized the importance of thorough preparation of the agenda for the upcoming high-level summit, particularly in the trade and economic sphere.
