ТАSHKENT, October 15. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith in Baku, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, Presidents discussed ways to take relations between Uzbekistan and Laos to a new level.

Increasing bilateral trade, strengthening business ties and advancing joint projects in transport, logistics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, tourism and other sectors were identified as key priorities.

Importance of strengthening the legal framework for trade and economic cooperation and expanding educational and cultural exchanges was also emphasised.

Two leaders also exchanged views on current regional and international issues.
