Industrial Production in Uzbekistan: Which Regions Are Leading?

TASHKENT, January 5. /Dunyo IA/. From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan produced industrial goods worth 963.3 trillion sums, which is 6.8% higher compared to the same period last year, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the industrial leaders by region are areas with the largest production clusters and a well-developed raw material base:
Tashkent city - 184.4 trillion sums
Navoi region - 173.5 trillion sums
Tashkent region - 146.9 trillion sums
Andijan region - 94.9 trillion sums
Samarkand region - 51.3 trillion sums
Fergana region - 50 trillion sums
Bukhara region - 43.5 trillion sums
Kashkadarya region - 40.9 trillion sums
Namangan region - 34.2 trillion sums
Jizzakh region - 32.1 trillion sums
Khorezm region - 30 trillion sums
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 25.8 trillion sums
Syrdarya region - 23.1 trillion sums
Surkhandarya region - 16.1 trillion sums
The released data confirm a steady growth trend in the country’s industrial sector. The undisputed drivers of the manufacturing industry remain the city of Tashkent, Navoi, and Tashkent regions, which together account for more than 50% of industrial output. At the same time, the role of regions with developing industrial bases is increasing, contributing to further diversification of Uzbekistan’s economy.
