TASHKENT, September 27. /Dunyo IA/.   Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva, commented on the violence against a 5-year-old child that occurred in Namangan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“I was briefed on the tragedy that took place in Namangan. Upon learning of it, I felt deep anger, - Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, wrote today on her telegram channel. - In my view, the death penalty should be imposed for such heinous crimes. As the current law does not provide for it, we are developing proposals to amend the legislation with a view to strengthening accountability.

All necessary instructions have been issued to the relevant authorities. The perpetrator will face the harshest possible punishment. All those who allowed this to happen, were negligent, or failed to protect the child will also be held accountable”.
