MEDELLÍN, June 17. /Dunyo IA/.   A member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, the renowned poetess Khosiyat Rustamova, will participate in the 36^th International Literary Festival, to be held in the Colombian city of Medellín, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The performance by the Uzbek poetess will take place at one of the festival's key venues and is set to become a significant event, showcasing contemporary Uzbek poetry to a global audience.

Participation in the prestigious literary forum is viewed as a vital step in expanding cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Latin American countries, as well as in popularizing national literature on a global scale.

It is noted that during the same period, global public attention will also be drawn to Uzbekistan in the sports sphere - specifically through the participation of the Uzbekistan national football team in international competitions and its match against the Colombian team. Collectively, this underscores the country's growing presence on the international stage across various domains, ranging from sports to culture.
