ТАSHKENT, May 13. /Dunyo IA/.   Today, the 26th International Exhibition “Textile and Fashion Industries – TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2026” began its work in the capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event, taking place from May 13 to 15 in pavilions No. 3 and No. 4 of the “Uzexpocentre” National Exhibition Complex, as well as in the “Atrium-2” hall, is recognized as an important international business platform demonstrating the export potential of the country's textile industry.

The exhibition is organized by the international exhibition company “Iteca Exhibitions” and its partner, “ICA Eurasia Group”.

In recent years, the textile and garment industry of Uzbekistan has been actively developing thanks to the introduction of modern technologies, innovative manufacturing solutions, and international marketing mechanisms. The competitiveness of local producers is being strengthened through product quality, production capacities, and supply chain flexibility.

In this context, “TextileExpo Uzbekistan” exhibition serves as an effective platform for entering new markets, expanding business ties and diversifying export geography.

Held since 2004, “TextileExpo Uzbekistan” has today become a reputable international event uniting manufacturers, buyers, retailers and distributors from dozens of countries. Within the framework of the exhibition, new collections are presented, supply negotiations are conducted, and the conclusion of a number of export contracts is discussed.

This year, more than 170 companies and brands from Russia, Turkey, China, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are participating in the exhibition. In addition, over 400 international buyers from 15 countries of near and far abroad are taking part in the event.

One of the key features of the exhibition remains its traditional buyer program, which ensures direct interaction between local manufacturers and international buyers. This format creates convenient conditions for prompt negotiations, the signing of export agreements, and the establishment of new trade partnerships.

The exposition covers all stages of the production chain. It features yarn, fabrics, knitwear, garment accessories and trimmings, ready-made clothing, home textiles, hosiery, as well as chemicals and dyes for the textile industry.

Supported by the Light Industry Development Agency, a collective stand titled “MADE IN UZBEKISTAN” has been organized, which has also become one of the prominent elements of the exhibition.

Traditionally, Chinese companies are widely represented, demonstrating various types of fabrics, accessories, home textiles, and ready-made manufacturing solutions.

This year, more than 20 local companies are participating in the exhibition for the first time, including “Fazo Group”, “Kogon Nur Textile”, “Proftextile”, “Premier Textile” and “Nisa Future”.

“TextileExpo Uzbekistan” contributes to the integration of the national textile industry into global markets, the expansion of export potential, and the strengthening of Uzbekistan's position as a regional textile hub.
