Uzbekistan Takes Part in “Diplomacy of Taste” Family Gastronomy Festival in Minsk

• 83MINSK, June 19. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbekistan participated in the second “Diplomacy of Taste” family gastronomy festival organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus showcased the culinary traditions of their respective countries. The festival featured national cuisines from 17 countries, including Uzbekistan, as well as a stand of the CIS Executive Committee.
The Uzbek pavilion was designed around the concept of a shared dastarkhan, symbolizing hospitality, mutual respect, unity, and the spiritual closeness of peoples connected by a common history and centuries-old traditions. The presentation highlighted Uzbekistan not only as a country with a rich cultural heritage but also as a nation that places great value on humanism, family values, and sincere interpersonal relations.
Uzbekistan’s Tourism Ambassador to Belarus, Vasilina Mitskevich, took part in the presentation of national dishes. The Uzbek stand reflected the country’s openness, friendliness, and respect for others while showcasing the richness of its culture and its role in strengthening friendship among nations.
During his visit to the Uzbek pavilion, Foreign Minister of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov recalled his trip to Uzbekistan last year and noted the warm hospitality extended to him by his Uzbek counterpart, Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, as well as his appreciation of Uzbek cuisine.
