LONDON, September 6. /Dunyo IA/.  British institution “MBF Academy” organized a series of training sessions and seminars for the senior executives of one of Uzbekistan’s leading insurance companies under the theme “International Best Practices in Insurance Management: Lessons from Lloyd’s of London and the UK Insurance Market”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

A defining feature of the training programs was that both theoretical and practical sessions were conducted directly at Lloyd’s of London - one of the world’s most prestigious and authoritative insurance marketplaces. This allowed the participants to familiarize themselves firsthand with the operational principles of a global insurance hub, risk assessment and management mechanisms, reinsurance practices, underwriting processes and modern corporate governance methodologies.

Within the scope of the curriculum, presentations and practical workshops were conducted covering such pivotal areas as the historical inception of the Lloyd’s marketplace, its institutional architecture and role within the contemporary insurance ecosystem, the organization of insurance and reinsurance operations, catastrophic and large-scale risk management, risk diversification and effective insurance portfolio management.

Furthermore, the participants gained detailed insights into the approaches employed within the UK insurance market regarding corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, enhancing customer service standards and ensuring the long-term financial resilience of insurance enterprises.
